New CT Scanner for Cashmere Radiology

After many years of loyal service, initially at St Georges Radiology, and more recently at Cashmere Radiology the GE 4 slice CT has been replaced with a 16 slice GE BrightSpeed.

The new scanner began clinical work last Monday and along with the 64 slice Siemens scanner at St Georges and the 64 slice CT/PET scheduled for installation at Southern Cross Radiology early in 2010 will allow CRG to offer state of the art CT at all its hospital sites.
